Just a note to let y'all know this fine car is still up for sale. Well, that and to BUMP the listing! ha ha. We have had two serious looks at the car in recent weeks. One sincere buyer just couldn't get the financing together (needs to sell his Mitsu SOLO first.) He'd really like to step up a level in his SOLO and rally competition with this 7. The other potential buyer is looking for an even earlier vintage example to add to his collection. Loved the car, the color, LHD (!), and the features- just wanted OLDER (go figure?!) Don't let that $35K figure scare you away from making a near offer on it. Gotta be pragmatic about current market conditions and the dismal reality there'll be no STIMULUS PACKAGE for sports car enthusiasts (anytime soon!) Thanks for your interest in the car! Paul. *Did have an uniformed tire kicker visit for an inspection. One of those time wasters you get sniffing around classics. When he pointed to the Halon nozzle in engine compartment and said, "Well, here's a part that needs connecting!" --- can't help but snicker (sorry.)

Further details- I might as well keep adding them as I think of 'em. That's a Halon bottle in there- and you know it'll have to go. A new fire suppression system will have all the plumbing with the bottle. Whether you're going to race it or not- a good fire system is added insurance. It has a legal fuel cell in it- and it will pass inspection. However, it hasn't been raced in more than five years- so it's not current with the annual inspections (either SCCA or one of the Vintage outfits.) It wouldn't take much to make it fully race ready- if that's what you want. The paint is good, and no chips in the nose. It's been exercised regularly, but it would need a thorough going through before taking it to the track or out onto the road. Just to be sure. You might notice the hood and cowl are a single piece. This was done a long time ago and it actually is quite convenient- you can get to everything quite easily. Could be returned to original (two piece) with a little effort- and probably using the single piece to accomplish it. It would require a repaint of the cowl and hood when done. *It seems to be just as easy to handle the single piece set up as it would be to remove and replace the smaller (original) hood set up. 1963 Left Hand Drive (original- not converted) Lots of history of club racing in the Pacific Northwest. Has been on the East Coast for the last couple decades- ran in SCCA and Vintage events.
