  1. Thanks guys, this all has been very helpful. I am looking at all of these models, and used is what I need. I have experienced the Building, stuff just with mods, and I am over it. I just want a fun little car to tinker with, and drive the heck out of. Are there different body styles for these frames. I seen a youtube video of a Westfield with a rac car type body, that is a definite option also if they make such a thing.
  2. That has to be nuts with that power to weight ratio. I found a a place to find more info on kits(motorcycle ones at least) i think these would be a blast, and probably more my style. http://thekneeslider.com/motorcycle-powered-cars/ How common is this? This is right up my alley if I could find something like this I would be in heaven, but it seems it would be a lot more costly to maintain, and how much more fun are the big drive train parts compared to a bike set up?
  3. Holy man thanks guys, this is unreal. I watched some youtube videos, and these things are great. This looks way better than a sports car. Are there any opinions on the MK Indy kit cars? There are some real nice videos showing their performance capibilites, but I don't know if I can post them since they are on the road. GBOLT, Sometime maybe I will have to do that. I really appriciate the offer. Here I was looking for skip barber cars with the dodge motors in them, and these look more fun, and some are street legal. It would take sooo much to make a vette act like one of these, this is definitely what I want I am glad I was referred here.
  4. I am new here, and that thing is just plain mean. What kind is that? That is just like what I would want for the track.
  5. Hi, I am new here, and trying to learn more about these cars. I live 3 miles from Road America, so they are fitting. I am looking for this type of body. (type R) is it called? My budget is on the lower end for this right now though, until I sell or trade my vette. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?t=4761 The Super Stalker looks even better though. I think I like this one a lot. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?t=4073 Do these cars have room for v8's to drop in, or is it a ton of fab work. What is the average price for a starter, driver car? Thanks After checking out youtube, I want an MK Indy for sure.
  6. Hi, I am not quite sure where to post this here, but I was referred here by a member from another forum. I have been considering a little track car, because I live 3 miles from Road America, and I have another car I am setting up for some HPDE's, but I think this looks more up my alley. I am going to check out the options for power, and other tech stuff here, but if someone can give me a brief intro to what these cars are all about I would love it. Thanks I am looking for this type of body. (type R) is it called? My budget is on the lower end for this right now though, until I sell or trade my vette. http://www.usa7s.net/vb/showthread.php?t=4761 The Super Stalker looks even better. The MK Indy the best.
