  1. We build some amazing fast cars here at S&R and I have become jaded to the business. So once in a blue moon a car will come along and suck the wind out of me like this one did. After we dropped it offed, the owner had a grin that would not come off.
  2. This is so awesome!! It's like riding a busa on 4 wheels.
  3. Well its all finished and one of the fastest cars I ever driven The car made 283hp at 8lbs on a very safe tune here is a video and the dyno sheet http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/dynojpeg.jpg Sorry for the bad video http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/th_MVI_0866.jpg
  4. Good luck with that build, it sounds like you got all the bases covered.
  5. Well we are almost finished gets tuned on Friday
  6. Thats way too funny, this is the same car and it belongs to the dealership as there fun toy.
  7. I suppose thats "ample" power, if you get the chance do that in a AWD STi that lays down 630 to the wheels.
  8. I only see one problem in your build. The 6 rib belt will only support so much. There is guy here in Tampa and calls himself elroy on S2KI. I know he is in the process of running a bigger supercharger. I know for sure mustangs run 8 to 10 rib belts on anything over 15psi or 2.1L positive displacement superchargers. Have you had your rear diff built yet? If not, call Puddy Daddy he has built rears for Honda’s race team. In fact he built our diff in our 580hp S2000 and also our 1200hp 350Z.
  9. I have a land and sea Dyno. On a Stock ap1 to the wheels makes on my Dyno is around 195hp ap2 210hp. AP1 witha high boost Kraft werks will make 350hp to the wheels with a Greddy emanage Keep in mind AP1 that made 409 had a AP2 engine in it with AEM EMS. We also live in Florida, That means sea level. I guess that is one of many reasons I live in Florida. More HP and you can drive year round. Bottom line is a Dyno is a tool and nothing more. long as I make more power than my base pull.
  10. We are a Kraft Werks pro installer. Last one we did was a AP1 with a AP2 engine, full stand alone at 10 psi made 409 to the wheels.
  11. Thanks, I have some really gifted people that work for me. Its really hard to say with this engine. I know from experiance that S2000 at 10lbs will make 400hp to the rear tires. The Honda has a higher compression and a better head flow and of course 9500 rpm readline. I would guess the Duratec on pump gas at 11 psi 265 to 300 to the rear tires
  12. That is an Ford Duratec, the Duratec can support 350hp, low 300's torque. The question is, can the owner hold on? The factory exhaust runs the same route, so from the outside you will never know there is a turbo under the hood.
  13. This is a water to air intercooler with an heat exchanger in the front of the car http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/IMG_0786.jpg
  14. Everything is fab up by us except the water tank. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/IMG_0789.jpg
  15. I thought I share with you fine folks a really cool build. Our customer wanted something a little more down the straight away. After a month of going back and forth on what could we could do to get some extra ponies to the ground. So we decided a small turbo set up will get us an easy 100 rear wheel horsepower. I snap some photos of the turbo set up. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/IMG_0793.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/IMG_0788.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/IMG_0690.jpg http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh171/SnRPerformance/caterham/IMG_0692.jpg
