  1. :iagree: Fantastic book! Hard to find nowadays since it's been out of print for a few years. But if you can find a good used copy (I think I purchased mine on either eBay or Amazon) don't think twice - just buy it! You'll be glad you did. It's been a little while since I read it, but The Gold-Plated Porsche: How I Sank a Small Fortune into a Used Car, and Other Misadventures by Stephan Wilkinson is another fantastic book worth checking out. I'm just about to finish The Cobra in the Barn: Great Stories of Automotive Archaeology by Tom Cotter. It's a great read with lots of interesting stories. I'd highly recommend it.
  2. I know this is older thread, but are the stock lower front A-arms still available? If so, then I'm interested. PM on the way.
  3. Thanks very much for your suggestion. I'll try get in touch with Dave @ Britain West Motorsports soon.
  4. Hi all, Long-time lurker and Seven fan. This is my first post. I've recently purchased a Ford crossflow (711M) whose final destination will be between the front fenders of a Seven. The engine is in need of a rebuild (in fact, it arrived in pieces as it was the cheapest way to ship). I'd like to keep the total cost of the rebuild 'in-check', so my intention is to assemble the engine myself. However, all the machining work will have to be done by a machine shop, and I'd like to use one with experience in machining/building Ford crossflow engines. So can anyone here recommend a good machine shop in the Greater Toronto Area with experience in Ford crossflow engines? Thanks very much in advance.
