  1. Hi, The sun of my friend came from US to France, time for him to sit next to me in the Radical : He had the seat belt in his neck for a couple of days
  2. Hi Back to le mans after a while. 1'43"22 by Julien starts to be fast...
  3. True Grande courbe, Estoril, Chicane (turn 12-13) are very interesting Nurburgring is interesting Everything esle is not that funny. I will go to Dijon I know it's a good track specially with a car that has down force as the Radical. It's a fast track. I think no tracks can be as fun as Spa maybe Suzuka but ... At spa, Eau Rouge, Pouhon, Blanchimont are just mindblowing. Eau rouge is 220kmh in the compression, 200-205 up hill and flat out all the way through. G forces are on Z axis so there is no steering when you are up the hill. You need to be online already. Pouhon, brake before the first left turn in a about 160kmh then flat out all the way through and exit at about 200kmh. Blonchimont, first corner is easy flat for everybody then the second corner is frightening as it's very very fast corner. Turn in a about 230kmh. It's easy flat but massive massive lateral G force and you need to turn of your brain. To me Spa is the best track I have ever been in. The problem is that it's raining often and walls are not very far from the track.
  4. Magny cours F1 track this time. Funny battle with a Lamborghini Huracan GT3. I'have been a bit stuck but fun to follow and ear
  5. Same day without passanger for better view
  6. Hi it s been a while and i have sold my lovely C400. I know own a Radical SR3 SL. SL for Street Legal. It has a 2l foord ecoboost engine road map gives 240bhp and track map 300bhp. 378cv/t on the caterham with petrol and I 365cv/t on the Radical with petrol and I 441cv/t on the caterham without petrol and driver 412cv/t on the Radical without petrol and driver. Here is a session at le mans with my sister as a passanger You Can see G force on my sister head.
  7. Here is the night session Took me time to warm tires up but it was really nice.
  8. Actually my head should have a special shape, Bell, RSS are very painfull to wear. The only one that doen't hurt me is the ARAI GP6 and it's very expensive. I'm also building my company so money has to go somewhere else than in an helmet, track days, hans... Unfortunatly only one track day this year.
  9. I can go faster but I need few adjustement on the setup and balance. I also need more practice in general and on this track. Sure I have thought of an Hans but I need a new helmet and that cost. I am using a lot my mirrors and I know exactly were cars behind are but as it's a track day I don't want to lock them and I prefer to let them pass then catch their wheels.
  10. Hi, I've been to Magny cours last week playing/fighting with Porsche 996 cup and 997 cup. I was faster than all 996 but 50% of the 997 were faster. I had great great fun, first time that cars were so fast on track. they were porsche cup driver that may be the reason. Enjoy I did some night session too, I'll send you later! Onken
  11. That is another one, me chassing an R500 F1 team:
  12. A very nice day, Nice club very well organized, not the fastest but very safe. I had great fun with an Ariel Atom 300. Here is my video, me in my Caterham C400 chassing the Ariel Atom 300. My engine is not to bad and pushes well but that's nothing compared to the AA300 engines. Enjoy the vid
  13. back to le mans on March the 3rd, enjoy:
  14. Smoke come from tires touching wingstay. they are new slick tires a bit larger than the previous set and that is the result. Nothing really important. The engine is a ford Duratec from minister power with 220bhp and rev limiter à 8200rpm with all the right bits inside.
  15. Here is a last one for this year. My Cat vs Westifield megabusa with 220bhp from the 1300 suzuki hayabusa engine. http://www.youtube.com/embed/bvJCIgfCeZ8
  16. Let's fight with my friend Léo and his Caterham R300 cup [/url]
  17. I would say 360° + almost 90° Very scary.

  19. No We need it on a road car only. But if you go to the track by driving your seven, it means that you need one. It's the same for the visibility jacket, it's only in road car.
  20. LOL Fully true, Now we have to have an alcohol test in the car. Maybe the other driver did have his
  21. Hi, I've been to le Mans last monday, I had great fun there. Lap time was not as good as last year but... I'll upload other moment later but so far a near miss and a moment where I've been a bit too obtimistic. See you Onken

The more important is the chassis, the C400 chassis is far in front. Big brakes all around, race dumpers, better front suspension, quick rack, chassis a lot stiffer, full roll cage helps. It's like to compare a ferrari 308 or 348 lap time to a 458. Power is one thing but chassis is more important as long as you know how to use it.

Hard to say, it depens. My BDR was a 1700cc with 170bhp claim by Caterham (but In fact it was a bit less I guess 150/160). My Duratec is given for 220BHP but it's certenly more, about 230/235. The sequential gearbox improves also a lot. Yes it's a lot faster just for the engine.

the small lip on top is to remove air going along and create a wind extract from the nose cone.
