I dont have a picture, couldn't conjure one up through Google either, but back in "the good old days"...think early Can Am series circa mid to late '60s...I recall watching a few cars being transported in box trucks, Penske/Uhaul types, with hydraulic lift gates. They hooked aluminum ramps on the liftgate, rolled the car onto the ramps with the heavy end over/on the liftgate, and raised/lowered the car. I think the ramps had a hook over the truck side of the liftgate, cantilevered to the rear.

Hey...if it was good enough for the "pros" then, it should work still now. Just need to rent a 5 ton truck with a liftgate, find a pair of 10' aluminum ramps to modify and you're good to go. Only out the price of the ramps and a few weekend rentals when you need the truck.

Also at the risk of stating the obvious, you could buy/rent an enclosed trailer. Essentially a portable garage.

I have been unable to find a place to rent a large enough enclosed trailer. Uhaul etc only rent up to a 6ft by 12ft and I don't think a CSR would fit.

Time to buy a tape measure...

I have hauled a 7 in a 14' enclosed trailer, had 3' behind to carry a power wheelchair and sundry other items.

I would be surprised if your csr was 11' long.

My CSR is 134 in long and the Uhaul "6x12" actually has an side dimension of 138 in so no ability to tie down. More of a problem is the door entrance which is 60in and my CSR is 68in wide.
