andrew7 Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 I would like to do a Saturday ride with fellow seveners. The problem is we don't know were each others at. I'm near Pittsburgh, Pa. and figured about a 2 hour drive radius would be the longest I'd want to do in my seven. I thought each of us could meet half way. I want to travel mostly state roads and see the sights. Is there somebody in Ohio that knows some Amish towns to travel through, hopefully no further west than Canton? What about western N.Y., anyone want to ride through the Allegheny National Forest and see Kinzu? I think Raystown lake is the furthest east I'd like to travel and Morgantown/Cumberland the furthest south. Anyone know these areas? Mazda's trip is during my vacation and a longer distance than I'd like without a sag wagon and trailer. Let's get together for an early lunch, figure 4 hours riding around the area then head home. The reginal sections break up Ohio, Pa. and N.Y. even though we might be near each other, sorry for having to yell it out in the general section. I think with over 400 members somebody is close. Please post here to put your hand up then we can PM each other to hammer out the details. I believe Mazda will move this to the events section in a few days.:seeya: Frappr.com has a pushpin map for member groups, at least we would now were everyone is and how to contact them, just a thought.
Robert O. Urfer Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 I second the vote for a frapper map. I too would like to meet up with fellow seven owners in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana, for a drive.

slngsht Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 If you come toward lake Raystown, or Cumberland, perhaps I can drive 2 hours west and we can meet for lunch
andrew7 Posted July 19, 2007 Author Posted July 19, 2007 I'll pm you Mazda to schedule a ride. I'm house hunting now but I want to take the seven for a ride up to Chapmanville first. Hopefully I can get a few nice pictures. Thanks for the map, its nice to click a bubble and find out where people are located.
slngsht Posted July 19, 2007 Posted July 19, 2007 no problem... if you can work your way east, maybe i can coordinate to have lunch with you guys... if not, we'll do it some other time.
