slngsht Posted May 28, 2006 Share Posted May 28, 2006 What a frustrating day... I must have something stuck in my fuel filter, or my pump must be failing. Some of the runs had to be scrapped b/c of fuel starvation. Finally figured out if I shut down for a minute before the run, I can make a clean run. Also had bad axle hop accelerating out of corners - my day ended with a broken panhard rod Managed to nurse her home... now on with the fixes. So how do you get your data from the car to your computer? slngsht Posted May 30, 2006 Author Share Posted May 30, 2006 The data from the graph is from an accelerometer that's hooked up to the PC in the dash. This time I did not record engine telemetry off the car because I had so many other problems to work on (fuel, axle hop, etc...). Normally I would capture that too, and do a video overlay. The rear suspension of the rotus comprises of 7 total connections to the axle: 2 Coilover shock connections - these are vertical 2 Links that keep the rear from moving fore and aft 2 torque links that keep the rear from spinning in place as a result of the engine torque 1 panhard link that keeps the rear from moving side to side.
