Alfonse Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 I think I have the controls pretty well figured out on the 2003 Birkin I bought and have been fiddling with and driving. The only thing I haven't figured out yet is how the high beams on the headlights turn on. The headlight switch is just off/parking/low beams. None of the other switches seem to do anything with the lights. Quite a few things have been changed, so maybe the high beam switch now manually activates the fan or something. But, how if somebody can tell me how the high beams are supposed to be activated, I will work from there. Thanks, Al
Tbox56 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 There is a dip relay that switches between high and low when a momentary contact button is pushed. Here is a wiring diagram https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1w1t9trl845nxsn/AACc0b0af1yp9mmr1jBP4-EUa/headlights.pdf?dl=0 Tom
Alfonse Posted June 22, 2016 Author Posted June 22, 2016 Thanks Tom. Where is the momentary switch usually located?
Tbox56 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 There is a dash layout on page 8 https://www.dropbox.com/s/fmsw44bxx05ls5f/OWNERSMANUAL.pdf?dl=0 Tom
