jimrankin
Major changes in my wife's health (and my passing 70 years old) have me looking at down sizing my car count and getting on with the long delayed restorations of my Camaro and Jaguar. My S2K is in it winter storage but I will be bringing it home in a month or so to get it ready for sale. I'm just posting this now because I have been helping out a "new buyer" here in the Bay area who has expressed that if he knew I was selling he wouldn't have bought the one he has over mine. So, if your shopping or know someone that is be aware that a really well sorted bulletproof S2K with a ton of spares is coming on the market soon. If you have a special interest in learning more now just PM me. Thanks.

jimrankin
Thanks for all the interest in my car!! I had not planned to have the car home and ready for sale for a month or more and then do BAT but I've had several persons interested and I have a committed buyer for the car for my (what I knew was low) asking price. I told him I wouldn't "sell" it to him till he has seen and driven it but I'm sure he won't have a problem. When I emailed the other most interested buyer last night he asked for the chance at second look or if I'd take more now so I guess it's gone. Both of them know my car. The buyer through other drivers and the second looker by having seen and been passed by my car on tracks. Both are Northern California and both want it as a track car, two things I was looking for in a buyer. If I'm not driving it I want it out there doing what theses cars are really for, getting a driver to rip his face smiling at 100+. I know I'm going to want to shoot myself when it's gone but life changes and doing more things with my wife is now my priority. I'm sure the new owner will be active on this blog and I want to thank all of the people I have corresponded with here for their help and to say I've had a good time helping anyone here I could. BTW, the new buyer is a really decent driver, something I'm totally not, so even more Vettes, Porches and the like will be getting humiliated LOL. MudHut
I've searched for pictures of the car to check out what wheels you have mounted, care to enlighten me? An opportunity to post a bunch of pictures before it changes hands? sizes and specs too?
jimrankin
I'll try to get some pictures of it up when I can. The wheels I use on track with the slicks are Enkie from their lightweight wheel section. 17' X 8" X 38 front and 17" X 9" X 48 rear. I have the exact model number in the car folder so will try to get it before it leaves today. My street wheels are Team dynamics Motorsports. Same size and within 2MM of the same offset. The buyer "Pat", is picking up a trailer today and will be here later for the car. He rode in it with me driving and loved it. He drove it yesterday with a little bit of open two lane black top to play on and he is now seriously addicted! Big s--t eating grin, bugs and all LOL. jimrankin
These are the Team Dynamics Motorsport wheels on the car. Sad day for me as the photo is of Pat (the new owner) getting ready for a quick blat before we load the car in his trailer ;-(. Other wheel photo is the Enkie I run on track.http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=12330&stc=1http://www.usa7s.net/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=12331&stc=
MudHut
Beautiful car. The whole thing being painted makes in have a very big visual presence. Mine, with the stainless bottom panel and fenders looks a bit incomplete. Wishing your family well.
