James A
Robert, is this the uprated T9, does it have the small 3 bolt cover that is under the input shaft? Edited May 29, 2017 by James A
MichaelD
Does it have the long or short input shaft? I think Caterhams use a long and Birkins use the short shaft. More T-9 info here http://topdocsracing.com/pdf-links
Robert O. Urfer
The input shaft is about 7 3/8 inches long. It also looks as though there is a 3 bolt cover under the input shaft.
James A
For reference, the Caterham input shaft is right at 8" from the front of the gear case and has the 19 tooth spline on it. This sounds like the medium length shaft.
Robert O. Urfer
True Merkurs have a 23 spline input shaft. You could easily swap yours over to make this work.
