Tbox56 Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 The rack is a modified MK1 or MK2 Ford escort, neither of which were sold in the US. I have found a boot for a 1978 MGB (NAPA part PCC150047) fits the left side, have not needed one for the right so have not found one. Tom
slomove Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 I bought a pair of generic boots at Autozone. They have stepped diameter ends and can be cut to the required diameters. They work fine but unfortunately I do not have a part number, found it by browsing the aisles. rrdusek Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 found some today at autozone, made by dorman products (part #03670) called "speedi-boot." installed the driver side and ran out of time, will do the other side tomorrow. looks and fits just like the old ones. $15.00 each.
