Mandurath
heh, my LC7 got challenged for the first time. Being as its a pile of parts, a frame with some stuff tack welded to it, I must, say it is pretty intimidating. Especially the Darth Vader like tarp i have covering it. I was showing some pics of progress to the mechanics at our shop. The foreman comes over, who is a corvette fanatic, proceeds to exude the values of his vette (zo6) over my "car". A challenge ensued, so i said who evers car rusts first, wins. I won. He didn't find it as humorous as i did. But, proved my car does indeed do something faster than his. But, i look forward to seeing if i can even come close. I figure my 5k including tools vs his 60k (and lets not even start about his insurance) i figure i have plenty of leeway. Mandurath
Its an 02, not the new monster that they have. Though it is a monster in its own right. But, i figure i dump 60k into my car it would be pretty fast too. So ill settle for quick and fun.
slngsht
'02 Z is pretty fast, but not that fast by today's standards anymore. It's funny how in the last 6 years cars have gotten so much quicker. It used to be that a 13 second car was FAST, 12 second car from the factory was unheard of. Now there are a handful of production (I mean REAL production) cars in the 11's :willy: typical 200+ hp sevens will run equal quarter mile times compared to a stock '02 Z. And remind him that for every HP you add, he has to pay for
