LtWtStu Posted January 23, 2022 Posted January 23, 2022 Hi Everyone: I'm looking for a Series 4 Seven. Ideally a running, sorted car, or at least something very close to that, but I am open to anything that is out there. I like the idea of owning a real Lotus, and because I am 6'-2" with long legs, I imagine the S4 is a good option for me fit-wise. I plan to drive it on the street and do some track days. I don't have $35k or more to spend on a Caterham SV, so I'm hoping to find something that will cost a lot less while checking most of the boxes for me. I know these are scarce, and don't get a lot of love, but I'm ok with that! Any leads are appreciated!

LtWtStu Posted January 26, 2022 Author Posted January 26, 2022 @sltousThanks for your reply. I have seen that car in Croc's for sale postings. I think I remember when it came up on BAT as well. It looks like it was put together very well, and probably is a blast to drive. My main concern is that I want a car that I can drive on the street as well as occasional track days. So the question of converting it back to streetable form is a significant one. I live in the northeast, so for example a top and side curtains would really extend the driving season. I'm just not sure it is doable without significant cost and effort. But I could be mistaken. Happy to hear from anyone who thinks otherwise.
