Robert O. Urfer Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 As the title states. i pulled a fender off yesterday andtried to line up the new coveland fender but the rotus has a bit of an anlge in the rear where the fender hits the body so I will have an ugly gap. not sure how I am going to tackle this yet. Plus the coveland fenders are about 1/2 an inch narrower than rotus fenders.:nonod: Lame!
slngsht Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 can you show a pic of the angle you're talking about?

solder_guy Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 I have the same problem with my generic rear fenders. We are talking about doing some splitting of the lip from the fender at the rear curve and adding some more fiberglass to fill the gap. This is in addition to new welting. We are also going to refiberglass the old fenders to have them as a spare set. Rob
