25K for a solid axle, drum brake car? Seems a bit expensive considering mid twenties buys a late 90's De Dion car with a 5-speed, separate sway-bar front suspension, although with a pushrod engine (but of at least equal power to a Twink). The car is in Canada, but with the Canadian dollar at par to the US, no help there!

There are quite a few on ebay right now. That rotary powered one looks like a beast! I think most of them are from the Northeast, bad weather i guess. Hope they all go to new homes where they will be appreciated!

$25K was the BIN price. The reserve could have been anwhere between $18K & $25.5K. David is right, even 20K would probably be optimistic considering the equipment. With winter coming, maybe if some ruggedly handsome guy who lived nearby would go by and offer him $16K cash he might be tempted.
