andrew7
Hi Southwind, could you keep me posted. Where are the locations of the shows, I never heard of them? If they are close enough I might drive the seven up for the day, if I can find some fun secondary roads. I don't like taking the BEC on the interstate. I won't be showing, just driving up to see the cars.

andrew7
Thanks Southwind, I'm not a city person and stay as far away from Pittsburgh as I can. I think you'll be interested in this. http://www.pvgp.org/6746931219135011/site/default.asp It is the test and tune day at the raceway the week before the Grand Prix. Three years ago the first sevens I ever seen were there. You can walk through out the pits and chat with the people about their cars. The charity run is great $10 for a lap around the track at speed(not a 30mph Conga line), Porsches, GT40, Jags, vintage cars of your choice. Its an hour from my house and probably where I'll do some autocrossing.
southwind25
Brit car show this weekend sponsored by the Austin healey club. Usually about 200 cars show up, and a dozen loti of various types. We will be there. Just gotta get all the grime off her from last weekend. then we will be anxious to get it dusty and dirty again soon!
Mike Rohaley
I will see you there, Jen will be at home getting some studying done though. It really could use a wash first to remove all of that talcum powder and bugs from Sundays run with the gang. Talcum powder you ask? For those not there it was used to quiet up the serpentine belt. One liberal application is appartently good for about 250 miles......who knew! It is properly fixed now by roughing up the once glass-smooth water pump pulley. southwind25
Cool, we will see you there! Oh, and perhaps M/J should consider a corporate sponsor for their unique 7? As we followed them the car had a very aromatic quality about it..http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/119326435_drschollsspecial.jpg
Mike Rohaley
I must admit, it does look quite a bit more aerodynamic that way. Hey! Isn't this is what a Seven would look like if NASCAR ran them? Nice work Robert, you must have too much time on your hands today.
southwind25
What an awesome day, the sun came out, dried up the tarmac and made everyones faces a bit more red by the end of the day. The Lotus marque was popuated by 2 europa's, an elise and, 4 se7ens!. Franks' new and old cars, Mike and Jen's pretty yellow ride and ours. Lots of people seemed to enjoy asking dozens of questions during the day....lots of fun. We balanced the day out with a blat between us and a few freinds with original Mini's ending up at "Gasoline Alley" in north-west Akron then on through some undiscovered twists while on the way to Medina. Now..on to carlisle..and more Ohio backroad fun! Mike: we found our darned camera in my coat pocket!! :banghead: :banghead: fwd any cool pics please.
