weconway
Guys, I'm kind of new to the forum, but myself and a number of Locost builders in the Atlanta area are trying to put together a meetup to discuss Se7en stuff, builds and just to meet each other and chat. I'm about to start my build, and I've never seen an actual Sevenesque car in person. Would anyone be interested in joining our meetup? I know I'd love to see the real thing... Here's the discussion in the LocostUSA forum.
athens7
My car (and its driver) will be in Buford Monday, Feb. 11 at Balanced Performance Motorsports. I'll be available shortly after lunch time, if the tuning goes well.

I would like to see it and get a better idea of what I want. (I'm working Sun night .. so I hope I will not be too tired!) (Well it would be good to see you again too!) I'm about to start my build, and I've never seen an actual Sevenesque car in person. My car is on blocks in the Five Brothers Automotive garage in downtown Tucker (outside I-285) if you want to take a look at the nuts and bolts of a different kind of Se7en. Let me coordinate with the Locost USA guys, and I'll repost here with a date for the gathering.

Rob - I'm thinking that we'll do a follow-up meetup at Donut Derelicts later in the year when it's a little warmer. Thanks, William
eVox
12:30pm at the varsity. Double check here before you go. After lunch, everyone is welcome to stop by my place to check out my build in progress. It is very close to the varsity and there is plenty of parking. Hopefully the rain will be good to us. My build is fully outdoors... weather.com for atlanta: http://www.weather.com/weather/local/30313?from=dayDetails_topnav_undeclared it looks like it will snow in the morning and be clear by 12. Keith
You guys should drop by the Walter Mitty (http://www.grmspeedfest.com). I'll be down for the weekend for a Miata turbo install and we'll have the turbo Westfield with us. Should even be a couple of Lotus/Westfield XIs. Should be a great weekend. eVox
I plan on being there. Looking forward to heckling Keith while he wrenches on the miata. I'll be the one tossing in extra bolts from the side line and saying "I wouldn't do that if I were you!" Maybe we should do a headcount and do a 7's meet and great? I got a little confused and though you guys were going to be at Sebring this weekend. Took me about 20 minutes wandering the vendor area before I wised up. :banghead: There was a guy there with 2 original Series 2 Lotus 7s who was cool enough to let me sit in his road car and ask a ton of questions. I'll post some pictures on my Flickr site later. I'm absolutely going to be at the Mitty. I'd love to get together again. If we ask nicely can we poke around the Westie? I'd love to get an opportunity to sit in it and look around under the hood... Edit - The fellow's name was Paul Stinson.
