calvin Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Tidewater Sports Car Club presents: The 2006 Charles Barker Infiniti Joy Fund Autocross When: • Saturday and Sunday November 18th and 19th , starting at 9:00 AM. Where: • Assault Craft Unit 4 (ACU-4) on the Little Creek Amphibious Base in Norfolk, VA Cost: • $75 for both days. $20 for Sunday only. • Prepayment is required. You will have 7 days from the date of registration to submit payment to one of the following addresses: Shawn Lambert Alan Stratton Wes Michaels Mailing addresses at: http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=35&Itemid=39 (Personal Check or Money Order can be sent via snail mail or Cash can be dropped off) • If payment is not received within 7 days, the entry will be deleted and filled with one from the waiting list. What is included: • 6 Run event on Saturday • 4 Run event on Sunday • Event T-shirt • Lunch on Saturday • Goodie Bag (Only 2 day participants will receive event T-shirts, additional T-shirts will be for sale) Refunds: • Full refunds will be available up to 7 days before the event. Registration: • Registration will open online Sunday October 22nd at 8:00 PM. • 100 spots will be available for the two day event. • 25 additional spots will be available on Sunday. (Only drivers participating in both days are eligible for trophies/prizes) • 4-25 car heats on Saturday, 5-25 car heats on Sunday. • Heats will be determined by number... 1-25-1st, 26-50-2nd, ect. Trophies: • Trophies will be awarded based on a cumulative time to include the best time from each day. • One Trophy for one to three entrants in a class; two trophies for four to six entrants in a class; three trophies for seven to nine entrants in a class; one additional trophy for every four additional entrants or fraction thereof (e.g., six trophies for 18 entrants). Schedule Tech: • Pre-Tech will be available Friday November 17th from 6-8 PM at the following locations: We are looking for locations to host the tech sessions. We hope to have tech available on both the south side and peninsula. There will also be a very limited tech session Saturday and Sunday morning. • Please remember to bring the tires that you will be running to the tech session. They do not need to be on the car, but you must have them with you. Saturday November 18th • Gates Open at 7:00 AM • Course is open for walking at 7:30 AM • Tech will be available from 7:45-8:30 AM • Mandatory driver’s meeting at 8:30 AM • First car off at 9:00 AM • 30 min break with free lunch between the 2nd and 3rd heat. Sunday November 19th • Gates Open at 7:00 AM • Course is open for walking at 7:30 AM • Tech will be available from 7:45-8:30 AM • Mandatory driver’s meeting at 8:30 AM • First car off at 9:00 AM • Awards will be presented after the last car runs. slngsht Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I'm autocrossed out at the moment (just spent the entire day in the rain autocrossing). You may want to contact forum member Steve Wann. He is in Williamsburg, but I'm not sure how often he checks in. He has a Rotory powered Rotus.
