Al N.
Rob-Two points: A) the Bond film that needs to made/remade is a new "on her Majesty's"...although Lazenby was not terrible, I always wanted Pierce to play this one, IMHO the greatest of the books, and the story behind James' one true love; B) my knowledge of Bacarat is limited to the first chapter of the book...I know enough to say "pass the shoe", "suivi', and "banco".-Al
solder_guy
my knowledge of Bacarat is limited to the first chapter of the book...I know enough to say "pass the shoe", "suivi', and "banco". Ditto. I imagine there is going to be a resurgence of interest in Bacarat as a result of this new Bond film. the Bond film that needs to made/remade is a new "on her Majesty's"...although Lazenby was not terrible, I always wanted Pierce to play this one, IMHO the greatest of the books, and the story behind James' one true love; I always liked "Majesty's" better than all the others. Lazenby works ok as Bond and we might be singing his praises more if he had done more than one Bond film. Plus no body does it better than Diana Rigg (which has been discussed elsewhere here.) And Telly Savalas as the villan. I don't think that a remake would be any better than that. This new Bond film is being promoted as how James became 007. That should be interesting. Timeline is off with the female M. Rob Mitchell solder_guy2006-11-08 17:10:
solder_guy
The correct answer is THREE! The Casino Royale (TV program, 1954 starring Barry Nelson) is a special feature available for viewing on the DVD of the 1967 Casino Royale. It features an AMERICAN agent named James Bond. Peter Lorre is the villan! Rob Mitchell
