Hi all.

I have here a series of TV programmes that follows a chap who buys a kit from Westfield. It follows him from the day the parts turn up in crates to acually racing the car , its 15 episodes long (about 30mins each) . With respect to the board rules , should anyone wanting this please PM me. The files are in .rar format and stored on a file share site. Files extract to .avi. If you dont have the winrar extraction program I will also supply this with your files .

PS - I would be grateful for any comments on his build, would you have done things differently?, not fitted that paticular part or perhaps gone about it in a different way?.

I am downloading like mad. Last night I plugged the jumpdrive into the TV for episode 1 and the wife said "Not Another Car Show". This is after an hour in the garge messing with the car and her reading a book. Tonights a car gathering, to I might get to watch episode 1, but highly unlikely.

Richard,

Thanks again for posting. Although Rapidshare is a royal PITA because I'm not a member I did get to watch all of the "Race Car is Born" episodes.

Spaz, watch for a few shots of the rear of the race car on track and in the pits where someone purposely doctored the back of the car to read: "A Racecar is Porn". LOL!

The one thing I found very odd, is then he went to Westfiled for a pre road test they had to fit a few things like light brackets to have the lights point the correct direction, why was that not supplied with the kit? Also the show did not show all the odd little bits that needed doing. A good example is the fuel filter braket.

"A Racecar is Porn" -- Can't wait :)

Glad you liked all folks, yes sorry but the host server can be a pain if you dont have an account I must admit. I spent 3 years on that server before I `paid`for an account..... I also didnt like the way the build went , as in they did not show the fiddlely bits - though would that have made good TV for the non 7 fan??, also the SVA test as it was known as then ( now IVA) i also thought it was a bit stupid to make the builder do all the work , then have to re-do it by changing the lights and things.

I have just watched `The lotus story`which was a good view if you ever get the chance to see it.
