Racing Simulators

I am not normally into `games` at all on the computer as I do find they are a waste of time generally, however a friend lent me his copy of a racing game. I said `thanks but no thanks, not my scene`, then he said I might be interested in this one. I thought well ok, i will give it a go (just to keep him happy...) THEN I found out what cars they were, Caterhams......

 

My mate might have now lost his game to me, its great and very in-depth as to the settings for setup etc. This particular one (as I have now found out there are about 3 for the seven) is written by Simbin and is frighteningly realistic.

 

Anyone else tried these simulators?

I keep wanting to try iRacing or some of the other realistic simulators, but I'm afraid I may get sucked in and lose time off driving the real deal.
