Pretty much the same story I got, although after I heard about the required OBDII scan, I didn't bother to take it down to the inspection office. I think many of the minor issues you mentioned could be fixed, but the OBDII scan requirement which applies to all engines born after 1995, and verifiable by serial number, is a deal killer. Dan
