zvez
HI All, Just a brief introduction. I had a vauxhall powered cat. 7 in the late 90s I bought from Texas Motor Works, in the interim got a couple of elises and have been car less for some time so thinking of getting another one I shall peruse here. I was pointed to the site by Jim from Texas, who I met from the Elise forum some years ago. Here's a pic of the car I had. I had the steering wheel done in red suede, wheels painted yellow etc in keeping with the old team lotus colors. It was a blast of a car. Here's a pic of me at turn one road atlanta. Kitcat
Welcome:car and driver both look good! There are many se7en options out there. My impression is the Vauxhall engined Cats were very fast, at least compared to my Crossflow. Have you looked at Texas Motorworks lately? They are now a US dealer for Birkins. I have read many good things about the new IRS Birkin-seems like a lot of car for the $. Caterham USA is building an R500 w/263 hp Duratec. That wld be a nice step up:). Tho a bit on the steep side $-wise. Mike
