A couple video's from Sunday Autocross

My wife and I attended an Autocross last Sunday at Brooksville Hernando Airport. A good concrete surface. I missed FTD by a few 10ths, but came in second out of 59 and my wife came in 5th. There were a couple nice AC Cobra there too. Beautiful cars.

Nice course layout. Slalom looked a little funky on the spacing before the finish though. How many runs do you get? We have so little turnout they give us 5-6 runs per event. And they allow a driver to register twice for more seat time. What class do you run? I run B-Mod.

We got seven runs each. Plus 2 extra.... a course worker missed a down cone and a timing issue gave a couple spares!! I never get re-runs... so I took 'em! There was some off set cones at the end to slow things down at the finish. Here's a video from outside that shows them a little better.

 

We run in Emod classwith SCCA. This club just has a open wheel race car class they put me, my wife and the AC Cobra's in.

We are heading to Daytona next weekend for another event. They have a mini road course set up at the speedway. Should be a good time.
