snookwheel Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 We had a great time at an Autocross put on by a local club at the Brooksville Hernando airport. I took FTD and my wife came in right behind me. Swapping out for some fresh rear tires made a huge difference! We took several Nube's for rides. It is always a blast to see their expressions after a hot run. 54 cars, but we were the only 7-type. The passanger in the car with Mary did not have a clue as to how quick the car and driver really are from the look of the expression at the end of the clip. Again Very COOL.

Still, I do get quite a bit of ribbing from the guys when it happens (as I should!). Actually, it's the best thing that can happen. When she beats me, she likes the sport just that much more! The more she likes it, the more we do it!:hurray: We ran a few weeks ago on a cart track in the Daytona Speedway. It had been decided that if she beat me there, I would have to wear a 'Man card REVOKED' shirt at the next couple events. I really focused on those runs! The 25 on the side of the car has a significance. I gave her the SuperStalker as a 25th wedding anniversary gift.... AND lived to tell about it too. Guess I should keep her around for a while. Might be hard to find another as tolerant. :driving:
