How are rotary folks providing oil to their engines?

Are some of you premixing two-cycle oil or using the oil metering system? My metering system is off the car and I think I'll just continue to premix oil as in the race setup on the street. Seems to deliver oil reliably that way.

back when I was reading up on rotaries, premixing was the preferred practice. using the metering system did not seem to properly distribute the oil from what I recall reading.
