Caterham Chassis

Have a mid-80's Caterham "classic" chassis to sell. This is a bare chassis (i.e. no suspension or aluminum) that was the basis for a very successful SVRA racer for many years. Is RHD, and has a very nice single hoop rollbar, side impact bars, and a "halo" bar surrounding the rear gas tank/cell mount. This chassis is straight and sound (i.e. no rot anywhere) and will accept S2, S3 "7" or Caterham suspension bits (a-frame, trailing arms, front suspension, etc). A "real" (i.e. steel tube) transmission tunnel and rear transmission mount was also welded into the chassis. All rivet holes have been welded shut and ground off, but the chassis will need some minor repair around the battery tray area (the center was cut out by a previous owner). This chassis will make a great starting poiont for a race car, track day car, or Caterham based street car. $2350 and can email pix if interested.
