camera/rear view mirror combo

I have a lot of ideas but no technical skills.... combining a rear view mirrow with a camera would save space and kill two birds with one stone. Just throw in a USB connection to download/hook up and use batteries or 12v hook up. Use buttons like some mirrors currently have for garage door openers to turn on/off. If they can put cameras in a cell phone, the mirror housing should be plenty of room. Add a microphone and it would be the perfect place to prevent wind buffeting noise. You could probably put a camear on the mirror side as well to catch both the driver and front view.

I like this idea.... another one would be to sell a kit with multiple remote mics so that you could stick one in the engine bay or by the exhaust so you get that full throttle buzz going on, then one behind the mirror, maybe by the rear tire for some good ole squealing going around a corner.... would make for a fun video with a little bit of editing. You could tie all of the different audio streams together using the time that they were captured so that you don't get one of those 70s martial arts movie things going on.
