Ruadhd2 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 My 1990 Rotus has like a 1948 design Volkswagen Beetle windshield wiper system with floppy, ineffective action. I'm guessing you Cat folks have something nice, but what about other 7 variant folks? Is there a simple system that actually works effectively and isn't floppy and flimsy?
pi7ot Posted October 28, 2010 Posted October 28, 2010 My Birkin has good wipers. 2 speed Wipers on the bonnet side, towel on the cockpit side. m
G2sound Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 The wiper system on my S1 is very effective. I tend not to drive it when it rains, though.
solder_guy Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Here's the Locost Ref for windshield wipers Here's the USA7s ref for wsw. Rob
DaveD Posted December 7, 2010 Posted December 7, 2010 I also have an S1 which has a very good wiper set up. But I use RainX and very seldom have a need to use the wipers when caught in the rain. plus it makes it much easier to remove the bugs. If use RainX after a few applications it seems to last longer. I had a contract with a detailer for my pickup truck that included a product called Aquapel that worked just as good as RainX but it would last for the best part of a year. I never took time to research where to get it. Dave
