motomoron
A friend is building a Yamaha R1 powered uber-7 from a Caterham chassis and all the bits off this bent RM Classics Super 7. As I'm a decent weldor, with welders and a stack of 1" square 16 gauge mild steel tube I got the RM chassis and intended to cut out the bent bits, rebuild the left front corner and install a Miata diff and pickup points for a Miata-geometry rear suspension, shortened Miata rack and front uprights, and a Suzuki GSXR1000 or Hayabusa engine. The purchase of a very compellingly priced Radical Prosport and acquisition of my SCCA novice permit, as well as a backlog of renovation, bike and car projects and events has rendered "Project RM" surplus to my needs. It's located near Silver Spring MD and doesn't weigh much. The roll hoop to the best of my knowledge is still in the possession of the original owner and can be had for free. I'd much rather gift this awesome little project to a fellow GRM community hack than drop it off at the metal recycling area at the dump. DeanG
My friend will take it. He has been helping me with my car and wants one for himself.
