lexxol Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Is there a advantage of the busa over the blade other than hp? Do they both reguire dry sumps? Street use back roads etc. Thank you
slngsht Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Busa = more / lower RPM torque. If you decide to go with the Honda, I have a 2007 CBR 1000 RR motor I'm gonna sell soon. I ended up going with a Yamaha R1. If I were starting with a clean sheet, it would probably be between Busa or ZX14
Fimi 7 Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Busa - has a ton of aftermarket parts... You can get almost anything you can think of for the engine and trans.
lexxol Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 Thanks for the input Busa it shall be. I have a lot to learn. The info reading threads is very help full.
Feffman Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 We have a Busa engine in our Radical SR3. We had it rebuilt over the winter and it's turning 191HP at the crank. It's arguably the toughest engine I've ever witnessed. Feff http://www.MVPTrackTime.com
Guest Terry Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 (edited) Thanks for the input Busa it shall be. I have a lot to learn. The info reading threads is very help full. This is my old 1400cc Busa Caterham on the Dyno, 256 BHP. Speak to David at super7cars@shaw.ca if your going down the Busa road. His 1400cc Busa with Super Charger is 394 BHP, I drove it 2 weeks ago and its very quick. Edited October 30, 2011 by Terry
pureadrenalin Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 what kind of power can a BE7 trans reliably hold without mods?
