Computer Sim Project Cars (caterham)

A small 3 lap race in 720p from the race car simulation Project Cars which I have just got. The latest alpha build has nearly finished the Caterham R500 physics and made it such a fun car to drive on the track, with the force feedback on my wheel the car feels very much like my Seven replica does on a track now and behave's quite similar. The AI in the game still find it hard to drive the cars and are a very much a work in progress but never the less fun to race as you will see just before the first corner :) If your interested in computer racing sims this is well worth checking out. Google WMD Games

Click the video to go to you tube and watch a larger screen version (well worth it in 720p)

I meant to add some in game screen shots to show how good the cars look in game as the video has lost a lot of quality.

Some of these are very large

Looks good. I just had a quick look, (at work) but I'm interested in giving this game a try. I still play GT5 every week, and could always use some more simulated seat time.

I joined the forum on my phone, and see the different packages that can be purchased, but I did not see a system requirements page. I sold my soul to Apple long ago, and hate the idea of running a flakey bootcamp.

Before I purchase a tool pack, Is WMDCars available for the Mac?

I don't think its available for the Mac cant see anyone on the forums talking about a Mac version sorry.

Aww. That's too bad. I'm glad that you got back to me so quickly before I purchased a tool pack I couldn't use. Thanks.

I guess I'll have to build a computer to use this Sim. Many good programs often don't run on Mac. A flight Sim I used to use for RC helicopters, and Iracing both seem to omit the compatibility with Mac. That's a shame too, since the Mac has a good amount of horsepower to run these programs, and seems to be gaining on market share.

Jackal if I didn't play computer games and needed a new PC I would certainly be getting a Mac now, after using one while on holiday I was very impressed by the Lion OS. But I play a lot of computer games rangining from sims to FPS so a Windows based PC is a requirement for me.
