Weather Top zipper solution?

I'm having issues with my the rear window zipper on my full weather top. The nylon coil zipper keeps coming undone. I was thinking of changing it to something more durable, maybe a molded plastic zipper (tent zipper)but not sure if it will work with the tight radius turns on the rear window. Has anyone found a better solution?

You might want to go to a sail shop and see if they can replace the zipper with industrial Velcro or a zipper like the ones used in a Miata.
