pi7ot Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 I just watched this and noticed something rather scary. http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-video/morgan-3-wheeler-video-review Who else spots this issue? m
Kitcat Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Its so cool it makes me want to ditch my se7en because it's too practical, and get this:)??? " Other than crossing the center line occasionally and looking thru, rather than over, the steering wheel, it looked wonderful. What have you spotted?
turboeric Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 The only scary thing I can see is that I can't get one in Canada!
crewst Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 If it's the one they had on Top Gear, I wouldn't trade a 7 for one.... the Caterham was better. Though the Morgan did do the doughnut test just fine.

"Better" , define better. I bought my 7 for the raw driving experience and feel of speed. I don't think the Mog would let itself down in that regard. My only problem with the vid is the lack of eye protection. I don't even turn the key unless i have something on.
jlumba81 Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 Was it wearing no eye protection or that the windscreens didn't look like they had a frame?
Hank Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 The issue I have is I can't get the damn video to load in Firefox or Internet Explorer!
pi7ot Posted June 2, 2012 Author Posted June 2, 2012 Yup. The seat belts. I reckon you'd get your torso torqued to the out side of the tub in a collision, and not be held by the shoulder belt if the car was on its right side. I thought she was a tall woman but she looked really small in the tub. m
Guest Terry Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Actually the EU5 Spec Caterham has the seat belts the same way round.
MoPho Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Seatbelts are like that in the Lamborghini Murcielago too. My only problem with the vid is the lack of eye protection. I don't even turn the key unless i have something on. Eye protection? I wear a full face helmet most of the time http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2148806/Golfers-shot-hits-motorcycle-rider-mouth-knocking-teeth.html The video was shot on a test track though, so not much need for protection .
Smiles Posted June 8, 2012 Posted June 8, 2012 My biggest concern would be straddling a deep pothole with the two front wheels... and then hitting it directly with the center rear wheel!
