Caterham yellow paint code

Does anyone know what the name or paint code is for the bright yellow paint color that is typically seen on the hood stripes of BRG Caterhams? Thanks.

I had the same question about the yellow stripe on my Birkin...I tried the Duplicolor Yellow Ford touchup paint...It was a perfect match and only about $6...worth a try.

When I wanted to color-match the Caterham yellow to paint the 7 logo grill on my '02 Roadsport I took the nose cone to our local automotive PPG dealer/distributor. They had a scanner and matched the color perfectly. Worth a try! Hope this helps you out. BTW, of course, they gave me the code they came up with. I'll try to find it for you.

"To close this thread & help anyone out who searches for it in the future, I have the Dupont receipe for Caterham Yellow, given to me by Tony at TSK. The receipe make 1 litres and is:

 

AM44 649 g

AM51 658 g

AM7 668 g

AM1 672.6 g

AK100 1180.6 g

 

The theory is that you can take this receipe to any spray shop who uses Dupont paint products and get a precise mix for caterhma Yellow. I havnt tried this yet, so bear no responsibilty if it turns into a mucky grey!!"
