MHKflyer52
Well I spotted a red seven today on the road that I have not seen before in my area. I was driving in Oxnard, Ca. on Vitoria Way and was at the intersection of Gonzales Drive when my wife pointed out that a 7 was getting ready to cross Vitoria and asked me if I knew who it was or if I had seen that 7 before. I was a little surprised by the sighting and could not say that I knew who it was nor had I seen the car before. I almost turned around to go chase it down but we had to be at an appointment and I did not have the time so I was unable to follow it to find out who the driver was. The 7 looked to be a Caterham as it crossed in front of us. It was red and did not have the spare tire on its mount but had the mount. Top was down and the roll bar was black which is not that unusual. The cycle fenders where also red and the exhaust was on the driver’s side and had a black heat shield over the muffler and the head lamps looked to be black also. The fellow driving it seemed to have the usual smile that we all seem to have when out driving our cars and was wearing glasses. Sure wish I had grabbed my phone and snapped a photo of the car as it passed in front of us. Now I am wondering who it is and if the car has been in the area long or was just passing through. Hopefully someone on this forum might know who it is as I would like to know who the driver and the car are if that is possible. By the way it was a great day for a drive here in the Ventura and Oxnard area. My wife and I happend to be in my Miata and had been talking about the fact that I had not had the 7 out of the garage for a week or so now and that we should have had it out when she spotted the seven which makes me wounder even more about the car and its owner.
