william robert
I am considering a move to South Carolina from Virginia. I have a Brunton Super Stalker titled in Virginia as a 1962 Brunton Roadster (Replica 1962). Any issues regarding SC titling and registration that I should be apprised of? TLRracer
Where in SC are you thinking of moving? I see all kinds of dune buggies and dilapidated old cars driving around here, I am pretty sure they let anything on the roads! I live in Travelers Rest. nicholastanguma
I don't think you'll have any problems. I *think* by federal law states are required to honor titles from every other state. The only caveat I could see is with vehicles registered under years that require emissions testing, but your 1962 year should exempt you from that. If I recall correctly even the Peoples' Republik of Kalifornia exempts 1974 and older vehicles from testing.
rikker
on who is dealing with you as much as anything.I do know that nothing is certain when dealing with them, even in the same state. I have heard of instances when the DMV was more concerned with the actual date of build over the model year of the car the replica was based on.
