ultraslow
Has anyone had any experience replacing regular gear lube with synthetic?; Same weight of course. I did and now I can't get the shifter to cross over to the 3-4 side of the pattern. After pumping out and refilling, the car sat for about three months while I had the master cylinder repaired. ultraslow
SkinnyG
I've had GL5 gearlube in a GL4-spec transmission by mistake, it started eating the synchros, but not a shift gate issue. Perhaps it's something else? I can't see the oil doing that....

Sounds like maybe something is lodged in the shifter console. :driving:
