twin cam vs xflow carb intake layout

Is the carb measurements and layout the same between a twin cam and a crossflow?

 

I'm thinking of modifying a lotus elan or seven series 4 airbox to fit my seven and am curious if the carb backplate will fit.

I'm sure it depends on your crossflow intake manifold.

 

It probably makes sense to measure and call someone that has access to a twincam head that can tell you the spacing between #2 and #3 intake runners.

I have a Twin Cam sitting 20 feet from me now, tell me exactly want dimensions you need and I will gladly go fondle my Seven with a tape measure

I'm looking for the distance between each carb centre, perhaps measured at the top of the carb spin on cover . I have weber dcoe 40 carbs. I suspect you do too.

Yes I have the same carbs. Measured at the centre of the spin on tops is 7-9/16" or 192.0883 mm.
