Greetings everyone

I'm almost done assembling my new R400 and targeting DMV inspection sometime late April / beginning of May. Has anyone gone through this process recently in Connecticut? If so, I would certainly appreciate a few do's and don'ts to ensure a successful process. For context, this is a new 2013 kit and I bought a very low mileage, "used" block from LKQ with the help of Jon Nelson in Colorado.

I read the basic info on the web and downloaded the R-95 form, but wonder about a few things. Some of the websites (DMV.org) mention that if I use "used" parts to build the car, I need to "make sure I have title certificates for each vehicle used for component parts, as well as receipts for all parts used".. I can obtain the sales receipt for the engine, but the seller (LKQ) does not have the VIN from the original vehicle it came from (salvaged block).. Is it on the engine somewhere? does it matter? would a sales receipt and engine ID number of the engine suffice? looks like the R-95 form only asks for the Engine ID number.

Also, on the r-95 form, there is a field for rear axle "make" and rear axle " ID number".. what should I write in this field? Caterham or BMW... (since my diff is a BMW LSD) .. my sense is that I should write Caterham since it came with the kit.. but not sure.

Thank you all for your help in advance!

Sebastien
