  1. Did I miss the PRICE? How much is this unit?
  2. I have a WCM #8 with the Honda S2k engine. My four into four header to exhaust is rattling around some and thought it would be a good time to source a new pair, header and exhaust, for my car. Anyone know where I can get these new?
  3. Its all a good healthy addiction that may have an upside. I looked long and hard for 7's and almost bought a Birkin which are really well built. Found one and I offered him a price he could easily refuse. Which he did then I turned to other investments, remember to always call this addictions, Investments. And found a Superformance Daytona Coupe that the owner did except my low ball offer. Where upon the Birkin called cause his wife had been verbally abusing him. Sorry Mr Birkin guy but I just bought a Daytona. But back to the point. I chose a WCM #1 which really got me going. So much so I bought WCM #8 from the West Coast Distributor. WCM#1 went to great guy down in Temecula or was it San Diego? I have owned WCM #8 for some time now and love it. I mean it is the perfect weekend warrior and it keeps me off my hyper Superbikes. So look for a Brian Anderson built WCM and jump on it...... Now I have to go and get my medication
  4. I am replacing all hemispherical joints on my WCM and could not remove one joint that was attached to the Upper A arm with the flange. Does anyone have one or two that they could sell to this plebe in Silicon Valley?
  5. West Texas S2K. Do you have the front upper control arms with the flange? I need two
  6. Anyone have a upper A arm with the metal flange for WCMs ? Trying to attach an image but haven't figured out how to do so ...... And if Loren views this I will take two shipped to Silicon Valley
  7. How is it registered? This is important to California dudes
  8. I have been looking for WCM fenders online at eTrailer and other Trailer sites. My measurements are Frt 9W, 9.5T, 26L Rear: 12.5W, 17T, 28L Does anyone have a source for aluminum fenders for WCM Ultralites?
  9. Is this Eric from Belgium that has the Black WCM? Surfmonkey from Saratoga wondering
  10. Wheels: I am thinking about replacing the frt and rear 17x7 wheels on my WCM Ultralite. Current offset on these stock wheels are 40 frt and rear. The always talented Jim Rankin suggested I get 17x8 Frt and 17x9 R wheels. My question is what should be the recommend offset for these sized wheels? Tires: I have 215x45x17 wheels front and rear. How does 225x45x17 frt and 245x40x17 seem appropriate for easy canyon carving? And what tire does the 7 group recommend? I have Nittos on my P car and the side walls are just to stiff for a 2000lb car. I am looking at a UTQG rating softness of 140 to 180. Any thoughts would be welcomed.
  11. Okay where do I buy one ?
  12. That would be great. When ever you are free...... These days all I do is raise gophers.
  13. Thank you..
  14. Good stuff John. Thanks
  15. WTS2k - I believe that you were the one who bought out WCM? If so I need two front fenders, two rear fenders plus all associated nuts, bolts und front hangers. On suspension. I would like to find some units that work. The Aldan Eagles are fine but the rears still bottoms out. Having such a light frame I do not want to go overboard and bend the frame. Also I have 5 cyberdyne digital gauges that I would like to replace. Got any suggestions? I have WCM #1 and I have taken it down to the frame and have built it back up over the last few weeks. Just got it CALIFORNIA registered today as a 1966 Lotus Super 7
  16. I search ARS and hit a Facebook page?
  17. Okay, no problemo on this side going with with new shocks und springs. Send me links, sizes and lbs
  18. Okay Jim as I see it we are some what neighbors so how about making a pair for this plebe down in Saratoga ?
  19. I am trying to clean up the front of my WCM. I have a total SIX digital lights with all of the electrical wires (12) coming out of the body on the front of my WCM Ultralite to the Headlights, driving lights and turn signals. I am looking at a traditional Bottom Mount Chrome headlight casings that hold 5.75 to 7" dual filament headlights. Headlights that also incorporates turn signals inside the headlight bulb. I have found headlights that have digital mini lights inside the headlight bulb to represent turn signals that sell for $70 for a pair. This would eliminate two digital lights and associated wires on the front. Now the interesting question. HEADLIGHT MOUNTS !? The funky WCM vertical mount is limiting. So much so that I have been looking at Harley Custom and Hot Rod online sites for Mounts that can hold a bottom mount headlight. Preferably ones that are hollow so the associated wires can be hidden inside the mount then back into the body. My two questions to the group are. What is the largest diameter headlight one has mounted up to a WCM so that it does not interfere with opening and closing of the WCM hood and have full horizontal wheel travel? What HL mounts do you know of that can attach to the top of the front shock mounts ? What length and angle should the mounts be?
  20. Mondo tell me what the compression length eye 2 eye and extension length e2e of the front and rear QA1s shocks you have on your car? Spring diameter and length?
  21. Thanks for all the feedback guys. Let me be the first to take a swing at this. My WCM is mostly used for street/canyon carving. Front Shocks: Aldan Eagles gas oil, Coil over with 5 click Rebound Adjustment. http://www.aldaneagle.com/products/ Currently set at a mild 1 click. The front springs are Blue Hypercoil 3"OD 2.5 ID at 350 lbs., Compressed 1.5" inches to eliminate sag. Length of spring sitting on work bench is 7". Fully compressed shock is 9.5" eye to eye. Fully extended eye to eye is 12.25" Rear Shocks: Aldan Eagles gas oil, Coil over with Rebound Adjustment 5 clicks. Currently set at a mild 2 click. The rear springs are Blue Hyper coil 3" OD 2.5 ID at 150 lbs., Compressed two inches to eliminate sag. Length of spring sitting on work bench is 8". Fully compressed eye to eye is 10.5" Fully extended eye to eye is 13.5". The car is lightly sprung to minimize the possibility of any frame bending while being able to handle most compression bumps and cornering loads. The car was set up by the builder of WCM's Brian Anderson.

What is the inner diameter ID of your front spring? What is the lbs per front spring? REAR Suspension: What is the make of your rear shock? How many external adjustments? In inches what is the length at full extension of your rear shock? In inches what is the length at full compression of your rear shock? What is the make of the rear spring? What is the rear spring length? What is the outside diameter OD of your spring? What is the inner diameter ID of your spring? What is the lbs per rear spring?
