  1. Head to Red River and say hi to Chris & Debbie Yates at the Three Bears Lodge. They're from northern England, and Chris has a long history of amateur racing, incl formula Fords, vintage, and Caterham. Chris also runs the local ski school and one of his sons, Tom, runs the Snowboard school. The nightly smores roasts at their fire pit are a delight - so much fun to get to know the Yates's and other guests. Granted, I'm biased because most everyone in Red River is connected to Texas in some way.

    Temp Sender

I tested a bunch of temp senders a while back, and the resistances vary dramatically from model to model and even among duplicates of the same model - all from the same manufacturer. Resistances are non-linear, and while these below aren't VDO, the behavior is similar to what you'll find with VDO: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=27648&g2_serialNumber=3 If you get lucky and find a compatible sender that has the same curve as what you have today but is only offset by a static resistance, adding a discrete resistor inline could work. If the curve is different, however, choosing a resistor becomes a task of picking the range of temps where it's most accurate, ignoring values outside that range.
  4. Linked a couple of videos on the original post: -Engine startup and engine bay view -Shift light demos
  5. Bump. I had two layers of SunTek clear bra/paint protection film installed on the rear fenders.
  6. Yes, mine has two pneumatic struts in the middle, but they aren't visible in the above picture.
  7. This should clarify it. Below is the garage mount. http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=28841&g2_serialNumber=4 The tilting platform latches using another coupler welded to the movable platform and a ball welded to the tongue/frame, both circled in green: http://www471.pair.com/stalkerv/gallery2/main.php?g2_view=core.DownloadItem&g2_itemId=30267&g2_serialNumber=2
