  1. You're welcome. Yes, I was able to keep the wiper posts on my install, but it is very close. I too wanted to be able to leave them in place in case I wanted to switch back to the full screen/top combo. I cap them with a pair of rubber caps I found in the garage that fit snugly, that way I can lean the passenger aero screen down on them without worrying about breaking the glass. I wish I had a picture up close, all I have are glamour shots of the car far away. But I can certainly take a picture or measurement if it will help. Car is currently hiding in the garage. I'm wondering if your stanchion ends up contacting the wiper studs, if it would be possible to slacken whatever fastens the wiper transmission and rotate/lean the studs forward a bit to clear. It would depend on how close, of course. And I feel like every one of these cars is put together differently, I'm wondering if I just got lucky mine fit without major issue other than needing to slightly enlarge the four bolt holes in the side skin.
  2. Is it possible you're installing it backwards? Pictures would help. I purchased the exact set up from DT last year and installed, I'm familiar with the kit. It was a little fiddly. Perhaps it's defective?
  3. Just to offer another alternative, here's what I use. Got em at Lowes. I cut off the adhesive backing with a razor blade so it's just bare plastic. Then I two-part epoxied the mounts to the underside of my fenders. I use four zip ties per fender. I added a thin piece of foam tape to the stay to keep the zip ties from sliding along the stay. Just did a 500 mile round trip, mostly highway at 70 mph and in the rain.. they didn't budge at all. -Jim https://www.lowes.com/pd/Utilitech-10-Pack-1-in-Nylon-Cable-Ties/50005764?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-rpe-_-google-_-lia-_-106-_-electricalaccessories-_-50005764-_-0&store_code=1857&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI7qzT5MnB5QIVy5-zCh2ZOA14EAQYASABEgLZXvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  4. I'm looking for a 4-2-1 or 4-1 exhaust header for my LHD Caterham 7 Xflow. Used and/or repairable condition is fine. Please send a message if you have anything. Thank you Jim in MA
  5. I'm currently looking for a bench seat for my 7 (both pieces). I believe they were vinyl or leather? Please send a message if anyone has one that is surplus to requirements. Thank you! Jim in Raynham, MA
  6. Sorted! thank you Jim
  7. Hi all, I have a bitsa 7 with what I've identified as an English Ford banjo axle. I'm looking to reseal it and replace the drum brake components just to cross the rear end off my list. I'm trying to collect as much information as I can about the car. Could anyone tell me what kind of car my axle was used in? (Sierra, Cortina, Anglia, all of the above?) Casting numbers on the carrier are: N12 105E 4025B 8022 I can take measurements and post pictures if needed. Axle is out of the car on the bench, I haven't pulled anything apart just yet. thank you -Jim
  8. Sorted! This forum rocks. Thanks for the help.
