    Thanks everyone. I've got a load of paperwork from the shippers to complete then the car should be picked up. I hate this form-filling, but it will be worth it in the end. Nothing beats the feel of a Seven. Aidan

    Taber As the car is older than 25 years, it would seem to be exempt from Federal Motor Vehicle Safety, Bumper and Theft Prevention Standards (form HS-7) and from EPA regulations as it is older than 21 years (form 3520-1). If you know more, I'd be grateful for any info! I'd hate the car to be crushed by Customs. Aidan

    I've owned my 1982 1600 X-flow Caterham since 1994 in England, where it was my daily driver for several years. I moved to the States in late 2003, and the car saw little use for a couple of years. It has been restored by Redline Components in the UK - they stripped it to the bare chassis and sent it off to Arch for refurbishing, etc. I'm about to import it to the USA... can't wait. Aidan
