  1. Here's what I have found so far on titling...

     

     

     

    There seem to be companies that would title your car, but in trying to reach these companies, alot of them seem to not be in business anymore.

     

     

     

    My car was never registered, has no chassis plates, etc... it was just in the inventory of the old Rotus company all these years.

     

     

     

    So, seems like the real choice for me is to just register the car as a '79 model, which makes me subject to emissions testing, eventhough my engine is from a '63.

     

     

     

    In Maryland, emissions tests are performed every 2 years. My understanding is that if you don't pass, you can show you've done a max of $xxx (i think about $400) in repairs, and you're good for another 2 years.

     

     

     

    I'm still checking my options, and trying to get a hold of other title companies...

    This is a 13B rotary, without the exhaust, intake, accessories.

     

     

     

    Joe is Joe Worsley, who started the Yahoo! Rotus group.

     

     

     

    I had this motor sitting around, and Joe wanted it for one of his friends who's going to put it in a Lotus 7 replica.
