  1. Ukrainian families separated by Russian attack People staying in Ukraine to defend their homeland have been forced to say goodbye to their families, who are evacuating in search of safety. But amid all the chaos, the birth of a child in a makeshift maternity ward shows that life does not stop. Norah O'Donnell https://www.cbsnews.com/video/ukrainian-families-separated-by-russian-attack/#x https://www.cbsnews.com/video/ukrainian-families-separated-by-russian-attack/#x --- Human dignity and decency, weep,,,,
  2. This is my wife, Mineko. An aged couple of 70 and 69 years old,,, hahaha,,, Only when driving on this crazy car occasionally, obeying the speed limit, we have a childhood conversation.
  3. Thank you, Croc. The lowest temperature met in this region of Japan is 0 to minus 2 degrees Celsius in the early morning at the Otome Pass of Hakone, where cold north wind kocks against the Hakone mountains. I still remember the extreme chill felt in Boston in winter 1989 (sight seeing tour). Compared with that, it is like soft breeze in Japan.
  4. This image is a memorial photo on the day of reaching 120,000 km of travel distance meter on November 14 2021.

  7. On Shizuoka Prefectural Road 72 of Japan, yesterday Oct 14, the odometer of my Birkin hits 120,000 kilometers. The Odometer has already go around one time, so, 100,000+ is indicated. Past history: 20,000 km in January 2006 --> 30,000 km in March 2007 --> 40,000 km in July 2008 --> 50,000 km in October 2009 --> 60,000 km in January 2011 --> 70,000 km in September 2012 --> 80,000 km in May 2014 --> 90,000 km in June 2016 --> 100,000 km in March 2018 --> 110,000 km in March 22 2020 --> 120,000 km Yesterday. Recently, odometer occasionally stops, then recovers, so the real number may be more. I am dreaming of reaching 200,000 kilometers. 8. BTW, belt for pants without buckles are purchased at Amazon.jp at lowest prices. I have no financial conflict with the sited company. I simply and brutally honestly transfer my experience.
  9. I install the leather straps for bonnet. 1. Merchandise arrived from Stafford Vehicle Components, UK. https://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/leather-straps--tan/ http://drhasegawa.com/prisoner6birkin/birkin-geo.htm#210613 2. Leather straps installed next week. http://drhasegawa.com/prisoner6birkin/birkin-geo.htm#210620 Actually, I had till recently a nightmare that bonnet is flying off over my head, caused by forgotten fastening of metal catches ,,, because of senile dementia. In the worst scenario, it may result in damage to the following car on the road. Yes, this is for foolproof, prevention is better than cure.
  10. I declare no COI (conflict of interest) for this input. I received the item from UK. I ordered the item on net directly to the vender on May 10 2021 on the net directly to his/her site, and received the item in TKO today May 14 via DHL. Cost was Total Goods £76.68 + Post & Packing £23.00. At first, I am afraid that there is no guarantee for tracking record as ebay, however it was groundless fear, since shortly after ordering, I received the information for tracking from DHL, indicating, Ordered on May 10, departed from DHL facility on 19:25 at Bristol UK on May 11, departed from East Midlands, UK at 22:50 May 11, departed from Leipzig facility at 13:27 May 12, reached the facility of DHL in Japan at 11:03 May 13, got through clearance from customs of Nippon at 11;07 May 13, handed over to the Japanese courier at 13:47 May 13, and received at Kohinata residence, Bunkyo, Tokyo at 11:xx May 14. 12. To Panamericano, Some NG professional shooters and reporters would agree absolutely with you. I am afraid that National Geographic has been transformed to second-class Scientific American in recent years. The issue is becoming full of political social-justice agenda, full of women, women,,,,, and no story of headhunting indigenous people. No photo-journalism. I may retire from trans-pacific regular subscription of NG from USA, since Jan 1, 1995.

  16. Rear boot lid cover replaced with new one which is purchased from U.K. London (j-f-customs), via ebay. Ordered Feb 25, Reached Japan Post Koishikawa Office March 7, after failure of absence notice, received March 18 at Home at Kohinata. Delivery from UK is fast, and the vendor was decent and honest. The first photo is the old and fatigued one, with broken slide fastener and ruptured suture. The next photo is after the installment. Snap fasteners (buttons) are installed myself, after punching a hole. The last photo is snap fastener parts with a specialized tool (available at Amazon at low cost). Actually, the longitudinal is a bit short (the merchandise is for Caterham, series 3), so I glued with bond the anterior edge of the new one with a remaining flap of the old one, after cutting out with scissor. The ebay site is, https://www.ebay.com/itm/D-GREEN-STITCH-REAR-BOOT-LID-COVER-PEBBLE-GRAIN-VINYL-FITS-CATERHAM-SEVEN-S3/233776088238?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&fbclid=IwAR0wQB4EA6jIUd1Vk-9wEDebRZzwXypz8_49QX7UwRItiqx2kJ1JNCKBkPg
