  1. X2 on trying to get a reply from Chris. I've been trying to see if/when they might do another run of reproduction AC Temp gauges for the Lotus Seven Series II. Months ago, I got an "I'll check into it". To my recent requests on how that's coming along, I've gotten zero response...
  2. Hi John, Do you run inner tubes with your Kumho 155 80 13 tires? I've heard some guys say they do and others who do not. I'm sorry azfast1 - it's not my intent to take this far off topic. Mark
  3. I'm sorry, that's my error! You're correct - the photo above is the way it should be, of course. That photo does show the L539 lamps - you can just make out the wings.
  4. If you're going to re-paint in black, this can be a good time to relocate the round rear turn signal lamps to the outside edge of the fenders. The correct lamps were the winged Lucas L539. Reproductions are available from NOSLocators https://www.ebay.com/itm/200612002649?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Dce359c9aea434610ba852a8b559a608b%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D200612002649%26itm%3D200612002649%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A7a89a220-fcab-11ec-8e13-be4cca550779|parentrq%3Ad05147b21810a0da5ae43cb5fffa6f1a|iid%3A1 or a number of other vendors. 5. I spoke with British Masters in San Diego a couple weeks ago about a set of early Spitfire wheels 3-1/2” - same as what you’re looking for. They thought they had them but wanted a firm commitment before they went digging. They were asking $100ea shipped. I think it was $60/wheel plus shipping. You might give them a call. 6. AZFast1, I don’t know the extent to which you want to go for originality or what you have for seats. Tony Ingram has the original style seat cover (correct red w/cream piping & grain pattern) http://www.lotus7.com/Home.html. He also has the correct cream piping for use at the body/fender seams. He’s a good guy! Redline in the UK has in the past made a run of repro AC temperature gauges (now out of stock). I’ve messaged him to see if they’ll do another run. I’m not sure how motivated he is, but he said he would look into it. Also, he carries the correct plastic repro Lotus badge for the steering wheel center. Congratulations on your Seven! It’s pretty cool that you got it from Jim Downing!😁 Mark
  7. lotsats, could you provide the O'Rielly Auto part number? Thank you, Mark
  8. azfast1, are you located in Arizona? The Standard 10 hub caps can be sourced from Standard 8 & 10 Spares in stainless steel: https://standard8n10spares.co.uk/standard-8-10-pennant-stainless-steel-hubcaps-387-p.asp Note, originally, these hub caps were chromed steel. Mark
  9. I think you meant '67 or newer... I was told years ago by an inspector at the Scottsdale AZMVD you could have the title year changed to an earlier year provided you could show evidence that the car you have is based off of an earlier production car and could demonstrate that the vehicle was in production during that time (and of course the inspector would need to agree after seeing your information). Of course, I say this not having the name of the inspector and years ago, based on my memory alone... It's definitely worth going to AZMVD and having a conversation.
