I have a set of the original S3 Birkin seats with mounting frame/hardware that I no longer need. Would need to do some homework on pricing, in Las Vegas if anyone nearby wants to see them. Added two older pictures, can take better ones when I’m home.

Hi all, I would really like to move from the remote mounted reservoirs to direct mount or integrated but want to be sure I’m not shorting the amount of fluid I need. Will something like the attached photo (1.5 oz.) be sufficient? It’s a 2004 Birkin S3. if not what compact direct mount options have you had success with? Jaeson

Forgot to mention, Sharon Naake who runs Naake suspension specialists in California was very knowledgeable and was able to find a number of Carrera and QA1 parts. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for an exact replacement.

Hi all, Thank you for the replies and my apology for the delay in response. After speaking with a number of companies I opted to go with the Advanced Racing Suspensions as suggested by @7Westfield. Corey from ARS is familiar with 7s and was able to help make exactly what I needed for less than the cost of other off the shelf options. All in should be around $1700. @RedbeardRacing is spot on with info on QA1. They had the exact product I needed with the 82 series but recently discontinued them and every supplier seems to have 1 in stock. They are switching to the 82s successor the 8Qs but I’m told by a few suppliers that manufacturing delays are greatly limiting stock. Below are some photos and my rough measurements of what was on my car. Fronts 7” tall 1-3/4” wide body 8” 300lb 1-7/8 ID springs 1/2” shaft Compressed 9.5” Extended 13” (eyelet to eyelet) Non-adjustable 4 compression and 4 rebound Rears 9” tall 1-3/4” wide body 10” 150lb 1-7/8 ID springs 1/2” shaft Compressed 11.5” Extended 17.5” (eyelet to eyelet) Eyelet bottom 3” tall 3/8” threaded Stud on top Non-adjustable 3 compression and 3 rebound

Forgot the second half of my post. I have the standard Birkin calipers from 90s VW Cabriolet up front with 5x7 panasports, anyone have part numbers for a wilwood caliper replacement that will clear?

Hi all, My 2004 Birkin came to me with Carrera coilovers with 2” ID springs. The fronts are eyelet to eyelet but the rears ane eyelet lower and single stem upper. No local speed shops (Vegas) seem to have an answer and I’ve scoured damn near every parts retailer on the internet with nothing even close. hoping this group can point me in the right direction, and maybe fellow Birkin owners can share they’re set up. PS I already spoke with Tom who said Carreras were never a stock option and that his source is having them built in overseas with a substantial lag time. Hoping for something quicker.

Sharing an update that Tom reached out to me. I’m hoping he will have the cone, and some other parts that could use a refresh so I will be calling soon and will update when I have a resolution. Also, for transparency’s sake, I updated the original post to omit the reference to unanswered communication attempts to Birkin. Given Tom’s communication here and everyone else’s experiences with him there’s an enough evidence to suggest the fault was on my end.

Thanks for all the replies, I’ve attached a photo of the damage for those curious. I should have clarified, the shop told me they can repair and repaint the cone but it would be a VERY expensive and sourcing one would give me an extra to hold on to. They gave me some before and after photos of corvettes they’ve done so I don’t doubt they can handle it. I figure I’ll be patient and try to find one before repairing since it’s still entirely drivable. I’ll try to reach out again to Tom but as I mentioned in my initial post, my efforts thus far have been unsuccessful. That said, It’s a 33k mile car with plenty of other cosmetic imperfections. I plan to track and auto cross it with no intention of selling so there’s a temptation to opt for the pricey repair quote and put that money into new seats, harness, tires, etc.

Hi all, I bought a 2004 Birkin S3 a few months back and was able to secure a moving permit while I fight with the DMV for a title. Of course, the first legal drive ended with an F-150 backing his ball hitch into the nose cone. Damage is minimal but there is a crack and the shop said it should be replaced. Does anyone know if Birkin is still operating in the US or otherwise with a shipping option? At 33k miles there are some other parts I’d love to refresh as well, any advice on part finding would be great. Pics for attention, loving this car and can’t wait to be legal so I can drive more!

Hey Chris, I am local to Vegas as well and just picked up a 04 Birkin that is well sorted out but has been sitting for the past few years. Did you find someone around here that is willing/capable of working on these cars? Funny enough I am also a bike guy turned 7 enthusiast, this car was bought to help with the pain of currently selling my 2018 Street Triple RS. Would also appreciate any tip you may have on getting the car registered here. Long shot here but why not try, any connections at SpeedVegas? I live right up the street from them and was hoping to run my M2 (or the Birkin now) on their track but it seems they don't host any track days for personal vehicles. Thanks! Jaeson
