  1. Got a link to an ad on your Stalker somewhere with specifics and more details? V6 I take it?
  2. I'm a moderator in an Audio forum, and the owners there have a basic policy of No Political Talk ... This is a car forum with specific focus, so bringing up a political candidate or issue is as much off topic here as it is in the other forum I'm involved in. Let's just agree to keep ALL politics Out of Here - and keep it friendly with talk of Lotus and USA7s ... And never mention that guy again in this forum, ok??
  3. Pretty weird Kit car thing. Like the Blakely Bantams and a few other cars that have passed through here lately, its not really a "sports Car" like the Sevens or cars related to that design, its not really even a "sporty" car or a motorcycle on 4 wheels, its just an odd construct that isn't even described accurately ... The urge to sell doesn't justify its presence in these pages ... ;(
  4. Is it still for sale? What's included in the sale? How about some more info on the drivetrain, I gather its from a Honda S2000, 6sp? Stock? Mods? Current displacement, etc ... Thanks.
  5. Just to add the link ... always sad when we lose a resource! http://www.xtraspecialsevens.co.uk
  6. I'm intrigued by the Caterham Rotary powered car on BAT - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1977-caterham-super-seven-3/ Its not like the Rotus cars that were built in nearby Frederick, MD - and not as well finished as the S1 that recently sold in DC ... I gather the weight to HP ratio is quite good with rotary engines, but Its listed as a 4 speed, when 5 speed cars seem more typical these days. And I'm wondering about the fragility of older rotary engine, compared to the more typical ICE 4 cylinder power plants. How common are rotary drivetrains?
  7. Y'all said the Superformance S-1 in DC had been listed in Hemmings before, and after a pause, was listed again. #4 of 56. https://www.hemmings.com/listing/1969-superformance-s1-roadster-638198 I did some research and it had been sold in Florida maybe 18 months back, and then came to DC. Looks like its been sold $21,525 Thursday, Aug 17th, 4:28pm Guess I'll have to keep looking ...
  8. Is there some kind of issue (copyright or otherwise) with the Superformance S1 Super7 car? Not trying to insult anyone, but it looks like they made them for a few years but then went to Cobra replicas and similar vehicles - (perhaps a bit more upscale?) I've done some searches but can't find much about them like I can about the Rotus and other 7 designs ...
